One Year Anniversary Celebration Details:
Join us in celebrating Reason to Party's 1 year anniversary on Saturday, July 10th at the beautiful St. Regis Hotel Ballroom. The celebration will be an enchanting evening filled with fun, fashion, art, and friends. We will be celebrating three of our favorite and very influential non-profits that make a tremendous difference in our city—Visual Aid, At the Crossroads, and The Future Leaders Institute.
Immerse yourself in the splendor of our theme, a modern-day Midsummer Night's Dream. Allow the fairy tale ambiance to captivate your attention and inspire all your senses.
With a recommended donation of $35 pre-sale and $40 at the door, you will indulge in complementary Blue Angel Vodka cocktails all evening, as well as wine, champagne and delicious desserts. This event will kick off at 9pm and will wrap up around 2am.
See photos from last year's event at the St. Regis
We are blessed with one of the top DJs, Jeff Stallings, who will be spinning all night long. We will also present Art Displays from prominent local galleries and Artist Mark Leibowitz where all sales will benefit charities.
There is an opportunity to buy a special, VIP ticket on eventbrite that will grant you exclusive access to the VIP Reception from 8-9pm as well as the cocktail party from 9-2am. VIP tickets are a way for high-dollar donors to give more while enjoying additional perks, like free valet parking, gift bag, an exlusive VIP bar, and a complimentary VIP guest pass for a special someone or a good friend. At the reception, we will be celebrating some special birthdays, and there will be a few amazing surprises in store for our most generous VIP philanthropists!!!
Please help us support these organizations that continue to make a positive impact on our local community.
In order to keep art alive, Visual Aid "encourages artists with life-threatening illnesses to continue their creative work." Originally established by San Francisco artists, collectors, and art dealers, Visual Aid attempts to preserve and promote the artwork of local professional artists who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and can no longer maintain their art careers. For more information please visit: http://visualaid.org/faq.html
At the Crossroads main purpose is to "reach out to homeless youth and young adults at their point of need, and work with them to build healthy and fulfilling lives." By offering counseling and one-on-one mentoring, ATC reaches out to youths who normally do not have access to traditional services or support. So far ATC has reached out to 5,200 local young people, and has established one-on-one mentoring relationships with 975 youth. Lastly, The Future Leaders Institute is a nonprofit that aims to "engage high school youth in generating and implementing visionary solutions for society". Originally established to provide opportunities for students to remain active and engaged in the classroom curriculum, FTI teaches children through service-learning, leadership development, and education reform. FTI advances education and social entrepreneurship in order to help students pursue their passions and spark social change in their community. Reason to Party
Reason to Party was founded by a group of young, tech-savvy entrepreneurs who decided to use social media to engage the 20s-30s crowd in support of good causes.
Reason to Party is one of SF's hottest young parties, which has garnered the attention of Forbes Magazine, NBC, and even Mayor Gavin Newsom, who declared a "Reason to Party" day in San Francisco.
With start-ups happening simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York, and Sacramento, Reason to Party has become an internationally-recognized space for the young nonprofit, high-tech, artistic, and enterprising cultures to connect, give back, and share a powerful new reason to party.
